The day I discovered GCFC

“It was a new beginning for me, I was 200 pounds. I saw the sign as I walked on Newark Avenue and decided to stop in. I met the young man with a big smile and I could see that he was fit. He asked if he could help me and I asked questions about the fitness center. He showed me around and that was when my new life began. I joined that day, August 8, 2006 and worked out 5 days a week. I changed the way I ate and one year later I lost 37 pounds. I went from a size 20 to a size 12 and my energy level went so high I never sit still. My blood pressure is normal and I feel great!
