My Nutrition

Let's face it, nutrition is a science so
it can be very complicated. However, My Nutrition is very simple. In
most of my counseling sessions I advocate some of the rules of the
Diabetic meal plan.
-Several small meals per day.
-Space them out accordingly.
-Limit simple sugars (or empty calories in general),
also:
-Be careful of hidden fats.
-Try to have a well rounded meal plan (this means choose foods from all
food groups in moderation.
-Limit your alcohol consumption.
-Try not to choose "Fast food" options more than once per week, and when
doing so choose carefully. There are some decent fast food option
available, call us for tips on which local food businesses have the best
choices for you.
